Sealy est née au Texas, et a été achetée par John Tuder, Bar-2 Halter and Performance Horses Inc.

John just said : "Her name Sealy is short for Celebration... and named after the character in the movie The Color Purple.... Whoopie Goldberg played in that movie... she has a big rear end so my son said that is what the filly should be named after.... and S E A L Y is how he spells it.... and it just became her name."
Le 15 juin 2005 (14 mois), John Tuder l'a conduite au Vaquero Ranch pour la quarantaine de 1 mois... avant l'exportation vers la France.
Avec sa nouvelle mini-copine qui partira en Europe elle aussi
